DEAD IN HOLLYWOOD: SHARON TATE (issue #5)
Dead in Hollywood is a true crime zine documenting strange and tragic Hollywood deaths (color, 36 pgs.)
On Friday, August 8, 1969, Sharon Tate entertains two friends for lunch at her home, confiding in them her disappointment at her husband, Roman Polanski's delay in returning from London. Polanski later telephones her as does Tate’s sister, Debra, who asks if she can spend the night. Tate declines, offering to have her over another time. Jay Sebring, Sharon's ex, makes dinner reservations at El Coyote Restaurant for Abigail Folger, Wojciech Fryowski, Tate, and himself. The friends have drinks at the bar for 15 minutes before being seated. This would be their last meal.
